I started CrossFit four years ago hoping to lose weight. The first day, I was tired during the workout and looked to the coach for a way out. All growing up, when I got tired, my coaches in baseball or basketball told me to quit for the day. My CrossFit coach told me to keep going. I stuck with it, fixed my diet as well, and eventually lost 45 pounds, and now physically I can do things I never thought were possible, like handstand push-ups or compete in triathlons. I took my Level 1 in January 2016 because I wanted to help inspire others to make the same changes. I’ve been an intern or coach at CrossFit Elizabethtown since September 2016.
